Dextromethorphan Hbr Oral Dosage
If you are taking this product on a regular schedule and miss a
dose, take it as soon as you remember. If it is near the time of the
next dose, skip the missed dose and resume your usual dosing
schedule. Do not double the dose to catch up.It
is important that Dextromethorphan Hydrobromide Oral Solution

a teaspoon is to be measured. It is strongly recommended that an
accurate measuring device be used. A pharmacist can provide an
appropriate device and can provide instructions for measuring the
correct dose.

Dextromethorphan hydrobromide (DXM for short) is an antitussive drug
that is found in many over-the-counter cold remedies and cough
syrups. In considerably higher doses, DXM is a powerful psychedelic
drug. (Specifically, it is a dissociative drug. The dissociatives
are a major subclass of the psychedelic drugs.) It is not physically
addictive, but may be psychologically addictive (see below).
